Position Details

As the control agency for floods, storms, tsunamis, earthquakes and landslide emergencies, the Victoria State Emergency Service takes the lead in the preparation and response for these hazards. Under the coordination of Emergency Management Victoria (EMV), VICSES works within the broader emergency management sector, wherein all agencies and services work as one to ensure the safety of the state.

As the People and Development Support Officer, you will provide administrative support to the People and Development team, with an emphasis on staff professional development, planning, training and events, as well as supporting the recruitment, on boarding and induction processes.  The role requires excellent coordination skills and an ability to maturely manage competing priorities. Experience in an HR environment is preferable.
