About the role:
People & Workplace Services (PAWS) is a multi-disciplinary team including all aspects of human resources and built environment. Working in partnership with the Senior Policy & Projects Manager, we are seeking an engaged and strategic thinking Senior Projects Officer to lead and support strategic project initiatives within the team. With core deliverables including: the development of the VLA People Strategy, refining VLA's employment classification structure, and the design and development of VLA's People Metrics Reporting framework, this role provides conceptual and tactical support to project management deliverables including planning, reporting, communications, change, and implementation.

About you:
As our ideal candidate, you will bring:

  • Significant experience in project management planning, execution, and reporting, with proven experience in stakeholder engagement, and a demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.
  • Sound experience working within human resources functions, with specific experience in the interpretation, negotiation, or workplace implementation of Modern Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements.
  • High level reporting, writing and analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
  • Relevant tertiary education and/or equivalent experience in human resources, business, employment law, or project management.
