About the role
We're looking for passionate and practical people to join our Ranger teams across Victoria.
As a Ranger, you'll support day-to-day park operations, particularly during peak visitation periods. You'll help maintain visitor facilities, protect natural and cultural values, and deliver high-quality customer service.
Reporting to a Ranger Team Leader, you'll work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to a wide range of activities including:
- General Park maintenance (tracks, fencing, signage, amenities)
- Using tools and equipment like brush cutters, chainsaws, mowers, and spray units
- Engaging with visitors and supporting public safety
- Caring for the environment and cultural heritage
- Assisting with emergency response and compliance activities
About You
We're seeking individuals who are community-minded, physically capable, and passionate about working outdoors. You'll also bring:
- Experience in hands-on work (landscaping, farming, trades, or conservation)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- A focus on safety and ability to self-manage workload and responsibilities
- A positive attitude toward customer service and community engagement
- Physical fitness and ability to work in varied terrain and weather conditions
