This fixed-term role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within BPC's People and Talent Acquisition Team. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, driving high-impact recruitment initiatives aligned with BPC's evolving workforce needs. You will lead end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring both hiring managers and candidates experience a seamless and positive journey from start to finish.
Success in this role depends on your ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, solve problems systematically, and think analytically. Your expertise in recruitment best practices will enable you to deliver a consistent, high-quality talent acquisition service that supports BPC's workforce needs.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a corporate or government environment, with a strong understanding of contemporary recruitment practices.
- Proven experience coaching leaders on best-practice recruitment strategies, enabling them to make informed, effective hiring decisions
- Sound knowledge of relevant policies and legislation, with the ability to interpret and provide clear, practical advice to hiring managers on a wide range of recruitment matters.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to recruitment reporting and analytics to inform effective hiring decisions.
- Hands-on experience providing end to end recruitment utilising applicant tracking systems such as Springboard (or similar), with confidence to deliver a smooth and efficient process
About the BPC
The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing.
It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.
Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance. These services will now part of the BPC and will be fully integrated over the next 12 months.
