An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified chemotherapy nurse

Echuca Regional Health Cancer Services is a dynamic service offering a range of chemotherapy and medical treatments within a supportive team environment.

  • Echuca Regional Health Cancer Services is experiencing increased activity as a result of the newly expanded oncology physicians visiting services.
  • Echuca Regional Health has recently undergone redevelopment and expansion in all acute ward areas, radiology and the emergency department.
  • Permanent part time (32 hours per fortnight)

Applications are sought from suitably qualified Registered Nurses with previous chemotherapy and cancer nursing experience to work as part of the ERH Medical Day Treatment Unit team.

Key responsibilities include:           

Our team requires someone who has:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills relating to oncology nursing care
  • Formal training in cancer nursing, Module 1 and 2 in cytotoxic administration.
  • Proven experience as a high performing associate nurse manager.
  • Strong team focus and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Specialist qualifications in cancer nursing are desirable.

This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check prior to appointment.
