Position Details

Expressions of Interest are urgently sought for Resident Support Workers 

  • 80-hours per fortnight
  • Team Leader, Resident Support Workers - $59 per hour plus leave loading, overtime and superannuation
  • Resident Support Workers -  $54 per hour plus leave loading, overtime and superannuation
  • Personal expenses and car parking will be reimbursed 
  • Meals provided onsite during shift

The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent impacts on workforce availability mean that additional resources are urgently needed to undertake temporary frontline COVID-19 work.

We are seeking people with great customer service skills to take on the role of a Resident Support Worker within a number of Melbourne CBD hotels, over the coming weeks and months. If you are an experienced people leader, then you will have the skills we need to undertake a Team Leader, Resident Support Worker role.

In these roles, you will be required to work 6 x12-hour shifts, across a 24/7 roster fortnight and will be remunerated on a salary of $59 per hour (Team Leader, Resident Support Officer) or $54 per hour (Resident Support Officer) plus leave loading, overtime and superannuation.

Using your positive influencing skills, you will ensure that social distancing measures and good hygiene practises are being adhered to at all times. We need people who are resilient, respectful and accountable and have the communication skills needed to support the hotel quarantine arrangements for people arriving from overseas, including following infection prevention and control processes.

To ensure the safety of our staff and their family and friends, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided during shifts and staff will be appropriately trained to undertake this key role. Staff will also be required to take 14-days of special paid leave at the conclusion of their secondment.
