About Respect Victoria
Respect Victoria is focused on the prevention of family violence and all forms of violence against women for all Victorians. Prevention means stopping violence before it starts, by changing the culture that allows it to happen. Respect Victoria provides leadership in the prevention of all forms of family violence and violence against women, through advice on policy and program reform to improve the way Government, organisations and the community prevent family violence. This includes setting standards, building and testing outcomes, advising government on the suitability of funding, and communicating, raising awareness, and engaging with the community on family violence prevention.

About the role
Coordinator, Prevention Practice is an exciting new role for someone keen to apply and expand on their experience and skills to progress quality, impactful and consistent prevention of violence against women and family violence practice across Victoria. You will have expertise in the design and delivery of evidence informed prevention programs or initiatives and demonstrated experience taking a strategic approach to supporting the effectiveness and sustainability of prevention work.
This position will work collaboratively with colleagues in the Prevention Impact and Coordination Directorate to support the delivery of a range of projects designed to enable greater uptake of prevention activities across Victoria, using a range of different techniques across various settings.
