Senior Advisor, Campaigns - To 30 June 2025

Respect Victoria (RV) is a Statutory Authority under the Prevention of Family Violence Act 2018. We have a broad focus on the primary prevention of family violence and violence against women in Victoria, and collaboratively work with stakeholders to provide state-wide leadership to create social, institutional, organisational and community change. The role

The Senior Advisor, Campaigns is responsible for delivering innovative, evidence-based and world-class community awareness and behaviour change campaigns and related brand initiatives to engage all Victorians addressing underlying drivers of violence against women and family violence. This role will deliver campaigns focused on awareness raising, challenging attitudes and contributing to behaviour change, based on extensive market and other research, to address the drivers of family violence and violence against women. As a key member of the Campaigns Team, you will work closely with colleagues across RV including the Director, Communications and Community Change, and the Campaigns Coordinator, to develop, implement and evaluate quality communications. You will also work with external agencies (particularly media and creative) and stakeholders to identify, develop, implement and evaluate campaigns and contribute to the development, content, production and delivery of publications, media opportunities and events for a range of audiences, projects and purposes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the delivery of strategic and evidence-based campaigns and related initiatives focused on the prevention of family violence and violence against women
  • Lead campaign evaluations from a holistic point of view engaging all relevant areas and suppliers to capture data and insights
  • Support the development of a long-term campaigns strategy, ensuring connection across teams and with external stakeholders as part of the strategy development process
  • Build and develop quality reporting and record keeping in relation to key performance indicators and deliverables and develop high quality written and verbal briefings and communications materials for a variety of audiences
