Position Details

The key functions of the Finance Manager include financial reporting and compliance, including provision of high-quality advice and reporting to the Respect Victoria executive, Board and Audit Committee, and oversight of accounts payable, payroll and procurement. The role is also responsible for finance policies, procedures, delegations and processes.

Holding a qualification in business, accounting, or finance and a qualified accountant, you will have a proven record of success and demonstrated knowledge and experience in effectively managing the finance function in a government context preferably a statutory body.

The successful candidate will have experience and a high degree of skill, accuracy and literacy in financial management, with a strong attention to detail and pragmatic approach. You will also have demonstrated experience in leading others and managing and oversight of accounts payable, payroll and procurement, with a high-level of competency in a public sector finance system.
