About the role:
As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for driving a high-performing team that is purposed to cohesively manage the broad and exciting range of land tenure agreements and third-party controlled assets across Parks Victoria's estate. In this role, you will work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to bring Parks Victoria's commercial agreement management into a new era of capability; one that works to be a best practice park management organisation, striving for excellence in protecting and managing Victoria's outstanding system of parks and reserves.
You will optimise effective and successful delivery of our vast portfolio and establish an environment where both internal and external stakeholders value the outcomes we deliver and feel respected through our management of negotiations and activity.
We're looking for someone with:
- Extensive experience in liaison, management and negotiation of complex commercial contract portfolios, with a particular focus on property, assets or land.
- Knowledge and experience in the appropriate interpretation and implementation of relevant legislation preferably within a large and complex government organisation.
- Excellent problem-solving and influencing skills to drive and lead improvements for an organisation in sensitive environments.
- Experience in superior management of people and performance standards that enable successful achievement of the organisation's objectives.
