Position Details

  • New role to help the Supreme Court develop a Community Engagement Strategy.
  • A unique opportunity to help bring the work of the Court to life.
  • Fixed term until September 2020 - VPS5 - Melbourne CBD location.


  • The Supreme Court of Victoria is the highest court in Victoria and comprises the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division. The Courtdeals with major criminal and civil matters, plus appeals against decisions of lower courts.
  • An exciting opportunity exists to build a community engagement strategy for the Supreme Court.
  • The role will align current activities and develop new and innovative ways to get the work of the Court to as many people as possible.
  • This is an opportunity to provide specialist guidance and advice to the Director of Communications and Public Affairs, senior staff and judicial officers on strategic engagement practices.
  • You will have experience in community engagement, like working in a busy, greenfield environment and exploring new ideas and possibilities.
