Junior Associate(s) to the Honourable Justice Bell

Supreme Court of Victoria

  • Full time, fixed term roles
  • Roles based in the Melbourne CBD
  • Junior Associate VPS 2 ($51,717)

Two exciting opportunities to work with a Judge of the Supreme Court

The first position commences in February 2019, and the second position commences in February 2020. At the conclusion of the Junior Associate role after 12 months, the successful candidate(s) will be considered for the role of Senior Associate for a further 12 months.

Legal qualifications, strong academic record, high-level research skills, strong inter-personal, organisational skills and some post-admission experience preferred.

Duties include:

  • legal research and participation in judgment production process
  • clerking in court
  • liaising with Court staff, the public and the profession
  • administration of chambers
  • proofreading judgments
