Position Details

Director, Court Operations – Supreme Court of Victoria

The Supreme Court is the highest court in Victoria dealing with the State's most serious criminal and civil cases and is comprised of the Court of Appeal and Trial Division. While most cases are heard in Melbourne, the Supreme Court is a ‘court for all Victorians' and hears cases in regional Victoria.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, an outstanding opportunity exists for a senior executive in the key leadership role of Director Court Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of court operations across multiple corporate areas, including security, human resources, communication and facilities.

As a senior member of the leadership team, you will be instrumental in implementing the strategic vision of the Supreme Court, including leading and managing innovation to drive reform and best practice.

You will be achievement oriented, capable of fostering effective relationships and influencing and negotiating desired outcomes. As a proven leader with a demonstrated awareness of the judicial system and public sector management, you will bring to the role an aptitude and desire to deliver public value and improved outcomes for the Victorian community.
