About us 

The Director of Registry Services oversees Registry and Business Intelligence Services in the Supreme Court of Victoria (Court). The Director is also the Prothonotary, and in that role, exercises a suite of powers and functions pursuant to legislation. The Director has a strategic focus within the Court and is responsible for the delivery of a range of complex reviews, change outcomes, and the appropriate exercise of statutory powers. The Director works closely with Judicial officers, the Chief Executive Officer and senior officers. 

About the role 

The Executive Assistant to the Director, Registry Services is a critical role in the Director's office, supporting the Director in her management of key projects, staff, and relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

The role is responsible for the provision of high level, confidential executive and administrative support to the Director. As the first point of contact for all communications to the Director, you are required to confidently and efficiently triage, assess and prioritise a high volume of emails, documents and communications in addition to undertaking high level diary management and support. The Director works closely with the CEO and other senior leaders, and the Executive Assistant is required to develop and maintain excellent relationships with the office of the CEO, Judicial Registrars, colleagues and stakeholders. The Executive Assistant also works closely with and supports the Director's team.  

About you 

You are:

• experienced in providing executive level, confidential support services to a senior executive and their team, ideally in a public sector environment

• highly organised,  have advanced computer skills, and can confidently manage multiple tasks knowing how and what to prioritise

• confident, and excellent at building respectful and collaborative working relationships with senior managers, colleagues and stakeholders.
