Position Details

The Registry Lawyer is a member of a team providing case management support to judicial officers in the Common Law Division of the Supreme Court and promotes the Court's just, efficient, timely and cost effective resolution of cases.

Working largely with proceedings in the Trusts, Equity and Probate List, the Testators Family Maintenance List and the Property List, the Registry Lawyer manages files under the supervision of the Deputy Registrar and Senior Registry Lawyer. The Registry Lawyer is responsible for providing substantive and procedural legal analysis and high level administrative management of cases including regular contact with practitioners, litigants and judicial officers.
