About the Opportunity 

The Employee Experience Advisor works in the People and Culture branch, providing administrative support and coordination across the employee lifecycle. Providing first tier support and assistance on a broad range of people matters, the Employee Experience Advisor contributes to a goal to provide exceptional employee experiences by providing excellence in support and stakeholder services.

Reporting to the Manager, People and Performance, the Employee Experience Advisor is responsible for onboarding and offboarding employees, providing first tier response to people matters and escalating complex matters through the appropriate channels when required, maintaining employee files, creating and processing documentation in the employee lifecycle. The role works closely with other teams in the People and Culture branch such as Payroll and Talent.

 

About You 

For success in this role, you will have a continuous improvement mindset and apply critical thinking to processes. Equipped with a strong attention to detail, you will be able to apply legislation and best practice in contemporary HR practices to your work.

In addition, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, e.g. human resources, business or psychology or equivalent work experience.
  • A track record of success in establishing and maintaining outstanding relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working with administrative processes (e.g. human resources) including keeping up to date with contemporary best practice.
  • A solid track record in working in adherence to legislation and industrial instruments (preferably within an employment context), including interpreting and applying organisational policies and procedures into practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high quality communication and administration support, including accurate and timely first tier responses to a broad range of queries and accurate generation of documentation.
  • Experience with HR and payroll systems is desirable.
