Position Details

Speech Pathologist – grade 2

  • Fixed term (Parental Leave) – 12 months from 26 November 2018
  • Adult Caseload
  • Potential for diverse mixed caseload
  • Acute and Sub-acute settings
  • Leadership role

Applications are sought from suitably qualified Speech Pathologists with previous experience in health, to work in the Speech Pathology service at Echuca Regional Health. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work collaboratively with patients, families and inter-professional teams
  • Provide evidence-based individual assessment and treatment to adults with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop therapy programs that are informed by best practice and patient needs and goals
  • Provide high quality supervision to staff and students

Our team requires someone who has:

  • A strong person-centred approach to clinical practice
  • Demonstrated capacity for leadership of staff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current Practicing Membership of Speech Pathology Australia 

This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check and working with children check prior to appointment.
