We are the Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA); we deliver great change and transform the way Victorians live, work and travel. We were established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, including the elimination of 50 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne by 2022. To date, 29 level crossings have gone, 18 train stations have been rebuilt, and so much more is happening!

We are entering an exciting period as the organisation and the People &Culture function evolves to meet the needs of our fast-paced project. As part of this evolution, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Senior People Systems Lead to join our dynamic People & Culture team to assist with this development and transformation.

Senior People Systems Lead

The impact you could make:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong HR systems focus to assist in delivering and managing a number of projects across the LXRA People Systems team. Consulting with stakeholders across LXRA, this hands-on role will lead a small team to implement and deliver the LXRA people systems strategy. This includes streamlining and supporting delivery of enhancements to our people systems capability with a focus on employee experience and maintenance of data integrity. Your strong relationship management skills will see you collaborating with other members of the People &Culture team, the LXRA and DEDJTR IT teams and acting as a key liaison point for people systems providers. You will provide technical guidance and direction on all People & Culture systems functionality and will advise on and support process automation. This role will require a strong ability to balance the needs and expectations of various internal/external stakeholders.

About you:

Key to your application will be your strong experience developing, implementing and working with a variety of systems. In particular, experience with people systems, and managing HR data and reporting will be highly regarded. You will be comfortable taking a lead in the provision of expert advice and support of people systems across the organisation. You will be skilled at coaching and developing a team. To be successful in this role, you will also have a proven track record of successful stakeholder engagement and relationship building with the ability to build and maintain working relationships with both internal and external clients. Stand-out candidates will have worked on employee experience driven process and systems change programs.
