Team Leader/Exercise Physiologist – Grade 3

 

Fixed Term Full Time position (12 month contract)

 

1.0 EFT

The Hospital:

Stawell Regional Health (SRH) is a major health provider in the Grampians region with an extensive range of services including acute, sub-acute, community and aged care.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Exercise Physiologist to move into a leadership position within a well-established Primary Care team. The Team Leader will support operational management of the Primary Care division and provide professional and clinical guidance for the following disciplines:

-          Exercise Physiology

-          Dietetics

-          Diabetes Education

-          Community Health Nurse

-          Allied Health Assistant x 1

 

The Team Leader will maintain a clinical service delivery load of 55% which could include:

  • Outpatient Exercise Physiology – musculoskeletal, cardio metabolic, neurological, cancer and other clinical populations
  • Exercise Physiology Gym Groups
  • Oncology Rehabilitation Programs
  • The opportunity for running classes such as Better Balance
  • The opportunity to develop areas of special interest and work closely with other Allied Health disciplines

This is a 12 month maternity leave position. The position will report directly to the Director of Primary and Community Care.
