Administration Officer - Acute
Fixed Term Part Time - 36 hours per fortnight
12-month maternity leave cover


We are seeking applications from motivated individuals to join our dedicated Inpatient Ward Administration team at Grampians Health Stawell


This fixed term, part time position includes working a rotating roster including morning and evening shifts & weekends. The successful applicant will provide efficient and effective professional administrative support & reception duties, delivering a customer focused service to patients, their families & visitors, and facilitate accurate data entry of patient activity.


Good communication skills are essential, as is a positive and approachable manner.


The successful person will be required to demonstrate:

  • High level of customer service skills with previous experience in administration and reception.
  • Excellent all-round IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook with previous experience with Clinical applications e.g. Patient Administration Systems and Digital/Electronic Medical records systems an advantage.
  • Data entry skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Highly developed organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload and to remain calm under pressure, and client focused.
  • Initiative, flexibility and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take direction and work positively in a team environment.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Police Check, Working with Children's check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and provide evidence of required immunisation against Vaccine Preventable Diseases.
