About Us:
Macpherson Smith Residential Care is a 36-bed facility providing quality care to our community. We are a caring and energetic team who share the likeminded goal of providing excellence in residential care. Our home is well supported by our Allied Health and Leisure and Lifestyle team to deliver personalised care, individual choice and quality outcomes for all people.
We are looking for applicants who enjoy working in residential care, providing person centered and professional support in daily living activities.
You will be passionate about residential care and enjoy making a positive difference to an older person's day.
You will be working with a team of dedicated and professional staff, providing a range of care and support to residents in a homely residential care environment.
About You:
- Minimum of Certificate III or IV in Community Services (Home and Community Care or Aged Care), including the personal care module
- Experience and enjoyment of working in the aged care / community services area
- Kindness, patience and common sense
- Understanding and knowledge of the needs of frail aged people and people with disabilities
- Ability to work positively within a team and follow direction
- Willingness to undertake shift work as required
