The opportunity  
The Senior Business Analyst position is responsible for analysing, defining and obtaining agreement on business requirements and solution behaviour across SRO's core revenue management and IT systems, using Lean and Agile principles.

Reporting to the Manager – Strategy, Planning and Data, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing key stakeholder relationships and providing proactive support and highly responsive integrated advice to business users.
  • Eliciting business requirements from a variety of stakeholders.
  • Documenting requirements and use cases for new datasets to support the uplift of legacy reports.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure the products delivered are fit for purpose.
  • Identifying contemporary technologies and emerging concepts to drive productivity, efficiency and automation.

Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience implementing the software development life cycle in large enterprises focussing on business analysis, requirements identification, clarification, prioritisation and management.
  • The ability to look for innovative solutions outside current business environment and system constraints.
  • Demonstrated capability in leading business analysis lifecycle and driving improvements to business capabilities within an organisation.
  • Expertise in identifying and implementing contemporary business analysis tools, including Agile and DevOps, to achieve automation and generate efficiencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical people .
