About the role
Reporting to the Team Leader, Corporate Governance, you will play a central role supporting the Corporate Governance Unit  in a range of activities including:

  • Managing the end-to-end cycle for low value or low complexity procurements. Where you are qualified to do so, you will also prepare and review legal documents to support procurement.
  • Co-ordinating a range of activities including risk management, internal and external audit and business continuity.

Your effective communication skills and ability to negotiate and liaise with stakeholders, along with your well-developed analytical and problem solving skills, will help you succeed in this role.

While a legal qualification is desirable, it is not essential.  However, a demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of customer service and probity is a must, as is the ability to plan and prioritise your work to meet prescribed deadlines.

About us
We administer a range of taxes, duties, levies, grants and subsidies on behalf of the Victorian Government. The revenue we collect funds essential services including health care, education and social infrastructure.

We are committed to excellence, customer service and developing our people and offer a collaborative and rewarding culture valuing teamwork and high performance. In return, you'll benefit from professional staff development, giving you the opportunity to learn, influence and contribute to your future and to the State Revenue Office.
