  • Ongoing role in the Customer Experience & Education Branch
  • Salary $100,894 plus 12% superannuation – VPS Grade 4
  • Based in either Melbourne CBD or Ballarat, with hybrid working arrangements.

The opportunity  

The Senior Customer Education Consultant position is responsible for assisting with the development and delivery of customer education activities focusing on the taxes and grants administered by the SRO. This includes development of video, podcasts, face-to-face or online presentations potentially in remote locations across the State.

Reporting to the Customer Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the conduct of customer education activities
  • Working with the team on developing strategies to satisfy customer needs
  • Presenting at various customer education sessions including face-to-face and online
  • Developing a broad understanding of contemporary state taxes matters

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • High quality communication skills.
  • The ability to speak in public forums
  • State taxes knowledge or the ability to develop an understanding of state taxes issues.
  • A team based focus.
