About the role:
As the Senior Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and driving the implementation of systems and processes that ensure compliance with Parks Victoria's safety systems, plans, strategies, policies, and procedures for the designated Parks Victoria Region(s) and subject matter portfolio. You will also partner with the management of Regions and Corporate Divisions to identify and assess health and safety risks, implement controls, and provide a consistent and streamlined approach to coaching, support, and solutions for management.
We're looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience working as an occupational health and safety practitioner
- Strong experience in the practical application of OHS legislation, regulations, compliance codes and Australian Standards
- Well-developed skills in research, systems and process, data analysis and evaluation
