Position Details

This role of Circular Economy Lead sits within Sustainability Victoria's (SV) Industry Support team as part of the Resource Recovery Group. The Circular Economy Lead will work with staff across SV to develop the evidence and capacity to help Victorians transition to new ways of avoiding waste and keep resources circulating in the economy. 

Your ability to apply specialist knowledge and expertise in circular economy transition, facilitate and coordinate groups to identify and develop new ideas and approaches, and capacity to deliver meaningful opportunities in accordance with business objectives, will be critical to the role.

You are a strategic thinker who can lead the creation of new ideas and translate them into tangible opportunities. You will have experience in the development of proposals that lead to opportunities for public or private sector groups. 

You will be proficient in project management including planning, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and risk management. With proven experience in group facilitation, thought leadership and influencing change, your communication and stakeholder management skills will ensure success in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
