Position Details

Senior Planner - Expressions of Interest

Location: Flexible

Salary: $105,479 - $127,621 + Super

  • Apply your knowledge of, and experience in, planning and development to make a lead contribution to facilitating positive planning and development outcomes
  • Lead negotiations with stakeholders to achieve better planning and development outcomes
  • Work across a variety of planning schemes and development typologies
  • Work within a dynamic team and mentor junior planners and support the management team in a range of business functions
  • Work with an agile and high-performing organisation
  • Location: Flexible.

The Planning Group is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from talented and driven individuals with an eye for detail and an ability to partner with multiple stakeholders to deliver strong outcomes.

A Senior Planner provides a range of services including statutory services to deliver the Minister for Planning's responsibilities in relation to the assessment of complex planning scheme amendments, planning permit applications and other requirements of planning legislation and instruments.

QUALIFICATIONS and experience

Mandatory

  • A relevant qualification in Planning, Environment or Social Sciences is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering complex land use planning projects and policy development is required.

The duration of the position will depend on the role/roles available at the time. These may be fixed term, or ongoing.
