About the role

The primary function of the Customer Engagement team at CenITex is to build and manage relationships with our stakeholders from Victorian Public Sector (VPS) departments and agencies, to grow the impact of our services through the provision of reliable, easy to use, contemporary technologies that enable our customers to deliver services to the Victorian community.  

The Customer Solution Specialist will engage with allocated external client groups, and specialist internal technical groups, to develop and deliver cost effective technical solutions that align with established architectures and designs, standards and guidelines, for the Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG).  Integral to this position is the capacity to engage, manage, and influence multiple senior stakeholders within a large enterprise environment. 

Specifically, the key accountabilities of the Customer Solution Specialist include;

  • Design quality cost-effective solutions that address issues which impact upon the customer
  • End-to-end proposal development which includes oversight of quality, viability and overall customer satisfaction
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the project lifecycle, supporting the delivery of outcomes through communication, prioritisation and ongoing engagement (planning, review, and project meetings)
  • Liaise with representatives to establish an understanding of customer needs and subsequently interpret and document complex business requirements (functional and non-functional)
  • Collaborate with multiple senior stakeholders regarding proposed solutions, to generate and maintain support from both technical and customer groups
  • Provide expertise and direction around the technical aspects of solutions, to ensure alignment with relevant architectures and standards

This fulltime position is a fixed term opportunity for seven months, ending 29 June 2018.
