The Recruitment Services team within People, Safety, Culture and Communications provide expert consultation and support to DJCS on all recruitment related matters.

About the Role

Fixed term to 31 December 2024

Immediate start

As a Recruitment Projects Officer you will be an essential part of our dynamic team, helping us identify, attract, and match candidates to rewarding job opportunities. 

  • Develop job advertisements and advertise on relevant recruitment platforms such as Careers Vic, SEEK and LinkedIn
  • Screen applications and schedule interviews
  • Conduct telephone interviews and reference checks
  • Facilitate face-to-face assessment activities
  • Coordinate pre-employment medicals and security clearances
  • Produce employment documentation
  • Support the onboarding process
  • Maintain databases
  • General recruitment administration

  • High level of professionalism
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with candidates and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • While recruitment experience is advantageous, it's not a prerequisite as we provide comprehensive training.  We value willingness to learn, initiative and commitment.
