About the role and your responsibilities:  

As the Project Manager – Recovery, you will be responsible for the coordination, scoping, development and the delivery of Recovery infrastructure upgrades in accordance with Parks Victoria's P3M Project Management Framework. This includes strong governance and oversight in accordance with Parks Victoria's key procedures, guidelines and policies.

You will manage the efficient implementation of multiple Recovery projects ranging up to $5M in value (individual) and spanning multiple years. You will be required to partner with stakeholders at all stages of the project lifecycle and provide technical advice to the organisation in relation to the delivery of Infrastructure Capital Projects. 

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in the management of diverse infrastructure programs and projects
  • A tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture, project or construction management or in a related field
  • Proven ability to ensure suppliers deliver effectively on expectations and timelines
  • A current employee Working with Children Check before commencing employment with us

About the branch:

The Infrastructure and Information Technology Division is responsible for capital projects delivery, asset management, business operations and facilities including fleet management and information technology services through the operations, applications, and innovation, projects and governance teams.

The Infrastructure Capital Projects Directorate delivers a range of projects and programs across the estate including the delivery of the Recovery – a $70 million works program to make our parks even better now and into the future. It includes rebuilding as well as upgrading walking trails, heritage listed buildings, boardwalks, roads, toilet blocks and bridges across the Recovery program.
