What you will do
As Senior Advisor – Environmental Management, you will provide expert environmental advice across the department.
You will help deliver practical solutions that improve sustainability and support safe, compliant infrastructure.
You will:
- develop and deliver an ISO14001-compliant environmental management system
- provide specialist advice on sustainable land management and environmental approvals
- support environmentally sustainable design for infrastructure and capital works projects
- oversee critical environmental compliance requirements across operational activities
- deliver evidence-based projects, policies and strategies that improve environmental outcomes.
About you
You must hold an appropriate tertiary qualification in environmental science, environmental management or a related discipline.
You should also have:
- strong knowledge of ISO14001 requirements and environmental sustainability practices
- demonstrated expertise in Victorian and Commonwealth environmental legislation
- proven experience managing environmental compliance for projects and government land assets
- sound judgement, adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement.
