About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Trade Manager (Education) to support the growth and deepening of Victoria's education relationships in South Asia, and particularly India.  
Based in Bangalore and reporting to the Regional Director – Education, India, you will be responsible for promoting Melbourne and Victoria as a preferred destination for education across all sub-sectors – schools, English language, vocational education and training (VET), higher education and research – and facilitating strategic partnership opportunities for Victoria's international education sector.

An extensive background and proven track record in marketing, communications and business development, underpinned by a sound understanding of the Australian education and training system. The position will represent the Victorian Government to a wide range of public and private sector stakeholders. It will work collaboratively with the Regional Director – Education, India, colleagues based at Head Office in Melbourne, and across other international Victorian Government Trade & Investment offices.

Successful Candidate
The successful candidate for this locally engaged position will be responsible for all arrangements in relation to relocation expenses (if applicable), their accommodation and day-to-day living expenses.

Employment Eligibility
