About the Role

The Genealogical Services team provides support to internal teams by identifying and locating beneficiaries for deceased estates. This includes maintaining a Genealogy caseload of requests in which you will prepare and lodge certificate applications, investigate entitlements both locally and overseas and liaise with clients directly.


Skills and Experience 

To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in probate genealogy, professional research or similar legal field
  • Knowledge of Victorian legislation relating to intestacy and privacy laws
  • Basic computer literacy including competent use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prepare commercial standard correspondence
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills

Further study in family history, law or research related field will be highly regarded.
