Position Details

  • Help courts, prisons and legal teams stay connected every day.
  • Use video technology to support justice services across Victoria.
  • Work in a fast-moving team with varied daily tasks.
  • Build strong scheduling and coordination skills in a unique role.
  • Ongoing, full-time role earning $81,496 - $98,955 per year, plus super.

What you will do

As video conferencing officer, you will help coordinate video and audio links for prisoners across Victoria.

You will support court appearances, legal meetings and other important justice services using video technology.

You will:

  • provide timely booking support for TeleCourt appearances
  • manage accurate schedules with prisons, courts and legal professionals
  • maintain clear records, booking systems and email correspondence
  • give helpful advice and basic troubleshooting support for video conferencing bookings
  • support a safe and secure corrections system through quality processes.

About you

There are no mandatory qualifications for this role.

You should feel comfortable working on a rotating roster across weekdays and weekends.

You should also have:

strong scheduling and coordination skills

  • the ability to stay calm when priorities change
  • clear communication and teamwork skills
  • sound problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
