About North East Link 

The North East Link Program will connect the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network, while increasing the capacity of the Eastern Freeway. It will slash travel times, get trucks off local roads and link key growth areas in the north and South-east.  

About the opportunity 

We are currently seeking a Document Controller to join our Delivery Central team. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, Design you will be responsible for providing efficient processing and consultative services on document communication workflows and document numbering. As well as this, you will champion the platform on which these transactions occur.  

As Document Controller, you will have the opportunity to join a collaborative workplace where you are required to build and maintain strong relationships across a broad range of disciplines, both internally and externally. By working closely with different people on the project, you will grow to fully understand the business needs and then effectively utilise information management frameworks for compliance, consistency, and document control across NELP. 

 About you 

You will bring:  

  • The ability to maintain partnerships and build strong rapport with people across all levels and functions. 
  • A project delivery focus with the ability to define success measures and monitor progress of tasks against plans and take prompt corrective action if needed. 
  • Previous experience with document control practices and protocols for engineering documents.  
  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of document control and information management systems and web databases, such as InEight Document (TeamBinder), Aconex, ProjectWise, iTWOcx.
