Are you a social work, psychology or welfare student interested in paid employment from 14th  January through to 5th  April.

The Department of Health and Human Services Child Protection Program is seeking highly motivated social work, psychology or welfare students to join the Program over the upcoming Summer Vacation period.

 

Our VAC program gives university students who will be graduating in 2019, 12 weeks of meaningful, paid work experience. This successful and innovative program will expose students to a breadth of quality learning experiences relevant to the Victorian Child Protection Program.

 

Successful candidates will receive:

 

  • Professional development
  • Supervision by leaders in their field
  • Exposure to contemporary social work practice.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

We are looking for university students who will be graduating in 2019 and are in their penultimate year of social work, psychology or welfare related degree.

 

Salary range: $52,891

 

Location: Various – Metropolitan and Regional Offices
