Position Details


  • VPSG-2 $50,077 plus superannuation and leave loading

  • Various full and part time, ongoing and fixed term positions available within the Public Support Services Department based at the Victoria Police Centre, 637 Flinders Street, Docklands

  • Rostered shift work positions also available - roles may be required to work on a 24 hour rotating roster (day/afternoon/night) basis including weekends and public holidays. Relevant remuneration and penalty rates will apply.

We are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated, team-orientated and conscientious staff for a variety of roles within the Public Support Services Department of Victoria Police. Successful applicants will undertake a broad range of administrative duties to ensure the smooth running and effective delivery of services in support of our frontline serving members and key stakeholders.

Some duties may include:

  • Providing accurate, prompt and professional advice to internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing, checking and updating police records information onto corporate databases
  • Assessing accuracy and completeness of information in accordance with established standards and procedures

Skills and experience:

  • Good oral and written communication skills with ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to deal appropriately with sensitive, private and confidential information
  • Experience in data entry
  • Ability to accurately maintain and use a range of electronic and manual records and information systems

Requirements and relevant information:

An order of merit from this volume recruitment process will be created to fill both current and future ongoing and fixed term opportunities as they arise within the Public Support Services Department. Successful applicants will remain on the order of merit for a period of up to twelve (12) months.
