Position Details

About the Position

We are currently looking for two Senior Trust Investigators to join our Regulatory Compliance Programs team

The Senior Trust Investigator position enables and supports the VLSB+C to deliver proportionate and targeted regulatory activity to minimize consumer harm and to maximize trust and confidence in the Victorian legal profession. The position will perform detailed and complex analysis of trust account activity (including reporting by external examiners), detecting and assessing financial discrepancies, and associated reporting requirements.

 About You

The role requires:

  • Significant experience in Auditing or investigations experience in a regulatory environment (preferably financial auditing) with a demonstrated ability to prepare expert reports and statements to support investigations – including interviewing - into alleged offences and/or misconduct and proceedings arising in and from those investigations.
