What you will be doing
Reporting directly to Coordinator, Postal Voting this role will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the management of the Postal Vote / Replacement Vote projects for major election events.
  • Assisting in the development of procedures and systems that contribute to the delivery of the Postal Vote / Replacement Vote projects.
  • Supporting the Coordinator with the supervision of casual staff during the election delivery period and escalating issues as they arise.
  • Ensuring compliance with process and procedures for the Postal Vote / Replacement Vote projects.

What you will bring to the role

  • Demonstrated ability in resolving issues through following policy or process guidelines and contributing to improvement initiatives.
  • Project management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skill with experience in developing effective procedural documentation and reports.
  • Commitment to the VEC's core values
