Position Details

What you will be doing

Reporting directly to the Manager, Instructional Products, this role will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of technical writers and instructional designers to produce work instructions for the temporary election workforce for use at the 2026 State Election and any by-elections
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop a working knowledge of the election procedures to be able to support the team with the creation of work instructions
  • Coaching and directing technical writers to ensure work instructions are accurate and comprehensively reflect procedures, and are user-friendly in line with agreed standards
  • Ensuring the team meet content development and production timelines, whilst working with the Manager, Instructional Products, to identify and rectify any timeline slippage
  • Contribute to the planning, development and scheduling of the Instructional Products work program
