Important note on role location: this position will initially be based at 530 Collins Street, Melbourne, before relocating to our principal office located at 465 Plummer Street, Port Melbourne in November 2025. 

What you will be doing:

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Centralised Delivery this role will be responsible for:  

  • Managing the front desk, reception area, and meeting rooms to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Coordinating meeting schedules, room bookings, and room setups.
  • Providing support for office events, staff inductions, and other operational activities.
  • Managing the travel arrangements of the Centralised Activities Site's VEC staff.

We're looking for someone who possesses:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high-quality administrative support
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced business environment
  • Commitment to the VEC's core values
