Position Details
We are seeking an experienced Print Production Manager to lead a small team of production staff and oversee the operation and maintenance of VEC's print workshop facility.

What you will be doing
Reporting directly to Senior Manager, Design and Production, this role will be responsible for:
- Leading the production of printed election materials with the support of a small team of print production and finishing specialists
- Supporting the development of VEC's internal print production capability
- Assisting the procurement process for key service providers and managing supplier relationships to ensure service level agreements are met
- Engaging and collaborating with internal stakeholders on any changing print requirements of VEC products
- Developing and communicating production schedules that meet business requirements and supplier capability
What you will bring to the role
- Advanced computing skills including demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud and pre-press and production software
- Demonstrated experience in leading a successful team
- Demonstrated experience with operating print, finishing and bindery equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence and partner with internal and external stakeholders
- A high attention to detail whilst attending to multiple tasks
- Commitment to the VEC's core vales
