What you will be doing
You will be working with a dedicated and experienced IT operations team where your expertise and knowledge will play a crucial role in driving innovation, optimising processes, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems
Reporting directly to IT Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for:
- Managing the deployment and administration of the VEC's election network infrastructure, including hardware imaging, staging, network commissioning, and de-commissioning.
- Providing technical support, monitoring IT infrastructure, and working with the Business Helpdesk to resolve issues.
- Coordinating with service providers and vendors for installation, support, and troubleshooting during election projects, adhering to ITIL standards.
- Guiding level one Service Desk operators, maintaining detailed documentation, and managing IT assets throughout the election lifecycle.
What you will bring to the role
- Proven experience in deploying and maintaining IT infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud.
- Strong skills in supporting Windows environments and Microsoft 365 services.
- Experience with IT governance and corporate network management.
- Commitment to the VEC's core values.
