Position Details

An exciting and unique opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the First Peoples - State Relations Group as Project Manager, Munarra Centre for Regional Excellence (MCRE) to progress the Victorian Government's nation leading work with First Peoples through their provision expert project coordination and management skills.

The responsibilities of the MCRE team include strengthening First Peoples economic and social prosperity, through enhanced pathways to education and jobs for First People in the Goulburn Valley Region.

As Project Manager, MCRE, you will report to the Project Director and lead the delivery of significant project workstreams of this $35 million infrastructure project. Managing oversight of significant workstreams and supporting the overall design and delivery of the MCRE including ensuring alignment of the project's scope, design, approach, and outcomes with required benefits will also be an essential requirement of this role.

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated strategy, project and program management experience
  • Ability to manage the realisation of project and/or program benefits and outcomes through implementation and delivery phases
  • Highly developed communication skills

Please note that a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience is a desirable requirement for this role.
