Position Details

An exciting and unique opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Department of Government Services as Business Partner, Budgets and Grants to provide financial and management accounting advice, transactional support, information, and reports to various branches within DGS.

The responsibilities of the Finance Branch include working closely together to manage the Department's funding, strategic planning, reporting and budget activities.

As the Business Partner, Budgets and Grants, you will ensure the availability of appropriate and timely financial information and reports to allow for informed decision making. Contributing to the preparation of annual budgets for DGS as a whole and for individual branches including reviewing and testing assumptions and maintaining forward estimates will also be an essential requirement of this role.

  • Sound conceptual and analytical skills

Please note that a CA/CPA qualification, a Finance or Accounting Degree or equivalent and a strong Management Accounting background are a mandatory requirement for this role.
