Position Details
- Fixed term role from 1st July 2025 - 24th November 2025
- Support the attraction and recruitment of front-line service delivery staff specifically Child Protection Practitioners
- Hybrid/flexible work
THE ROLE
This role is responsible for supporting the implementation and delivery of strategies and processes relating to attraction and recruitment of the department's front line service delivery workforce. Working as part of a team, the role supports the recruitment of front-line service delivery candidates including posting advertisements, screening and assessing candidates for mandatory qualifications, reviewing and shortlisting of applicants in the applicant tracking system Springboard. The role will also involve responding to queries from a central mailbox, triaging and responding with a high level of candidate care. The role is also responsible for maintaining templates, paying and tracking of invoices and supporting attraction strategies through project related research and reporting as required.
The role will also provide support to the broader team assisting with a range of procurement and contract management activities, including processing of accounts and monitoring against performance indicators and producing standardised reporting.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Support the strategic delivery of the attraction and recruitment of front-line service delivery staff specifically Child Protection Practitioners (CPP classification) including posting advertisements on job sites, screening candidates for mandatory qualifications, shortlisting of applicants and using the applicant tracking system Springboard.
- Provide exceptional candidate care by triaging and responding to email communication to both internal and external stakeholders in a central mailbox.
- Maintain templates and associated recruitment documentation in the applicant tracking system Springboard and associated central mailbox.
- Provide administrative support to the greater team by paying and tracking of invoices.
