Engineer Program Specialist

  • Annual Salary Range: $90,067 - $102,192 per annum plus superannuation

About the Team

SprayLIne Road Services is a commercialised division within the Network Operations Division of Transport Services, and provides road maintenance services, construction and associated civil works, bituminous spray sealing and line marking to DoT, other state road authorities, municipal councils, and private industry.

About the Opportunity

The Works Engineer is responsible for developing and prioritising a pro-active works program for delivery across the Eastern Metro Region. Works Engineer is also responsible for submitting the monthly claim and contractual administration and contractor management.

About You

  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement - Prepare contracts and quotation specifications of moderate complexity within State Government Procurement Guidelines, administer contracts, develop claims, develop programs to drive efficiency across the network.
  • Business and Commercial Acumen - Defines and maximises value add and/or return of investment in programming of works, efficiencies in month claim. Uses broad understanding of procurement and finance concepts to inform expenditure decisions and manage risks.
  • Stakeholder Management - Demonstrates self-awareness and a commitment to personal development by actively seeking constructive feedback from internal and external customers, staff and stakeholders through monthly meetings to achieve improved business outcomes.
  • Managing People- Lead in displaying to public sector values
