Position Details

The Architects Registration Board of Victoria (ARBV) is a self-funded statutory authority which is responsible for the registration of architects, the approval of architectural companies/partnerships, the regulation of the professional conduct of architects (including the handling of complaints) and the regulation of prescribed terms linked to the practise of architecture.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team of professionals committed to delivering improved regulatory outcomes for both consumers and the industry.

The Manager Communications and Education will be responsible for developing and assisting the ARBV to deliver targeted and authoratative communications to consumers, architects, the building industry and wider community. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing a communications and stakeholder engagement strategy, managing quarterly ARBV newsletters, developing information and guidance, supporting implementation of the new ARBV website and for organising publicity campaigns. The Manager Communications and Education is responsible for managing stakeholder engagement and for overseeing the ARBV's role with respect to CPD and the accreditation of architecture programs.

The Communications and Education Officer may be called upon to support the delivery of other functions including registration and general office administration.

This is a fixed term opportunity with the strong possibility of ongoing employment dependent on the outcomes of a funding review which is currently underway.
