Position Details

VSBA's Delivery Division has a mix of on-going and fixed-term opportunities for suitably qualified and experienced Senior Project Officer/Program Manager  (x 9 positions) to work across the project lifecycle and/or program implementation for large scale programs.

The Operations and Programs Branch delivers a range of state-wide maintenance and compliance programs including Make Safe, Emergency Maintenance, Accessible Buildings, regulatory and compliance, asbestos removal, relocatable buildings, inclusive schools and modular buildings.

With demonstrated skills in managing sensitive negotiations with stakeholders, and a collaborative and engaging approach to working with stakeholders throughout the development and implementation phase of the work program, candidates will also be required to apply their proven experience in risk management and mitigation to ensure successful program delivery.

Some positions may also have responsibility for managing a small team of technical specialists.

Relevant qualifications coupled with an understanding of public sector delivery systems will underpin candidates' ability to operate effectively across the role requirements.
