Position Summary:

Senior Policy Officer

The Senior Policy Officer position sits within the Aboriginal Strategy and Oversight Branch and will provide policy and research advice relating to improving outcomes for vulnerable Aboriginal people in Victoria. This position is part of a multidisciplinary team approach and while it reports to the Manager, Policy and Research it is anticipated this position will work across the branch.

Are you:

  • Wanting to work in an innovative, agile environment characterised by contemporary management thinking?
  • Able to demonstrate experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities?
  • Experienced in codesign, engagement and collaboration with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities?
  • Experienced in developing, implementing and guiding Aboriginal policy and strategy?
  • Able to provide leadership support for your team members?
